January 14, 2014Baxter is a French movie I wanted to see for years and I think I liked it but I also feel a little disappointed because it had way more potential. Its mostly from the perspective of a dog (Baxter) who gets passed around from family to family for one reason or another until he ends up with a little sociopathic boy who has recently become obsessed with Hitler. He even tries to date a girl who he feels looks like Eva Braun. Baxter loves the boy until he realizes the boy is nuts, and then it is all downhill from there. Worth watching, but the ending could have been so much better.
