January 5, 2014Two couples go to a cottage in the woods to plan a wedding and the groom-to-be gets bit by a mosquito carrying infected blood from a zombie. Not a bad idea for a zombie movie, but it lacks some in the acting, which is somewhat to be expected for a modern, shoestring budget, teen zombie flick. When the groom-to-be, Steve, starts craving brains and turning into a dead guy, he tries his best to keep it together for his neurotic fiancee, Tina. When the group puts it together that Steve is becoming the undead, they try to get him brains without becoming his next meal and without putting him down. There are some funny scenes and the story moves along at a decent pace. Stephen McHattie does a good job as the tough guy zombie killer. If you're not already tired of indie zombie movies, give this a shot, it's not bad.
