December 11, 2014Clea Duvall stars in this lame, made-for-TV movie about a company struggling to make the scariest video game possible. They recruit three guys who are supposedly the best, and using their skills and knowledge of weapons, audio, and artificial intelligence, they create a game that will scare the pants off anyone who plays it. One day, a power surge causes the game to come to life, which leads to their monster roaming the halls and killing everyone in its path. This movie was really not that good, but it is notable for an early and truly terrible performance by Tyler Mane as the weapons expert working on the game. The bad CGI and video game graphics date this movie to a point where I can't honestly recommend it for anything more than masochistic nostalgic value.
