June 7, 2014Deadly Prey was another delightfully awful movie that I really enjoyed. It is about a bunch of crazy ex-military people who kidnap unsuspecting innocent people off the streets and let them loose in the woods by their training camp so they can hunt and kill them. They make one big mistake though, when they kidnap Mike Danton, some guy who was the best in Vietnam (and he still is). Clad in just his underwear, Danton manages to kill a bunch of bad guys using whatever he can find as weapons. Everything about this movie was ridiculous, which was awesome. Awesome enough to spawn a sequel 26 years later called Deadliest Prey (I haven't seen it yet but it sounds almost identical to Deadly Prey). Deadly Prey is terrible but watchable, especially with friends!
