October 28, 2014There are a few standby movies you just have to watch this time of year. 'Scream' is one of them. The Scream franchise is Wes Craven's second revitalization of the horror genre, and probably the most parodied movie of all time. This is the movie that defined the rules for all slasher movies in no uncertain terms. It looks a bit dated now, but it still holds up as a really cool movie. If you haven't seen it, it is about a masked killer known as Ghostface who calls his victims and toys with them before ultimately cutting them to pieces. The cops aren't much help, so a handful of teenagers try to stop Ghostface before it is too late. There is obviously more to it, but you should see it for yourself.
